The Correspondence

The Correspondence by Robert Hamilton, 1987, 7 min., 8 sec., film and video, black and white, stereo. Produced in the United States.

The Correspondence explores the physical and psychological distance between a couple. The sensibility of a silent film – gritty black and white animation accompanied by an original score for the piano. The sequences were shot on film, then transferred to video via sand-blasted glass to enhance the sensory quality of film.
