Dreerie

Photo series of an expansive train set constructed in the basement of David Lee, Dundas, Ontario. The train set was largely completed in the early 60’s and remained undisturbed for 50 years. The train set was dominated by the town of Dreerie, populated by hundreds of carefully painted miniature figures. Although trains wind through the constructions, the focus is on creating narrative tableaux that reflect the era the set was constructed.
